After a month’s absence, Tokyo’s popular attraction—Kaminarimon, the iconic gate of Senso-ji Temple—has finally had its scaffolding removed and reemerged before visitors, prompting many who thought they’d miss seeing it this time to snap photos eagerly.

The Kaminarimon gate was temporarily closed for maintenance in late May after roof tiles fell from above; although no one was injured, the temple authorities decided to shut the entire gate for repairs, requiring visitors to enter via a nearby road. Now, the maintenance is finally complete, the scaffolding has been taken down, and from today onward, everyone can once again take photos with the iconic “Kaminarimon”!
