Starting July 1, Kyushu Pancake Café from Japan’s Kyushu region will introduce two savory dishes exclusive to Taiwan: the Kyushu Big Energy Pancake Brunch and the Kyushu Special Cook Madame Pancake, both priced at NT$290. The Kyushu Big Energy Pancake Brunch captures the essence of a classic British brunch, featuring eight nutritionally balanced ingredients in a generous portion available all day. The Kyushu Special Cook Madame Pancake draws inspiration from 1910s Parisian cafés, topped with a sunny-side-up egg that resembles a cook wearing a lady’s hat.

Kyushu Pancake aims to offer more diverse and balanced meals by launching a new savory pancake, made with locally sourced fresh vegetables and ingredients from Taiwan, including large red beef tomatoes, crispy bacon, boiled German-style white sausage, freshly sautéed mushrooms, and potato balls, all perfectly complemented by two thick slices of Kyushu’s original seven-grain plain pancake. Recommended price: NT$290.

Kyushu Special Cook Madame Pancake
The Cook Madame (Croque Madame) originates from a traditional French cheese sandwich in 1910s Parisian cafés. Kyushu Pancake Café has reimagined this classic into a pancake dish, layering three slices of seven-grain plain pancake at the base, filled with ham, onions, and potato slices, then topped with rich homemade white sauce cheese, and finished with a sunny-side-up egg resembling a cook’s lady hat. Recommended price: NT$290.
