The Guandu Flower Sea Festival, which features different flower seas for each season, has already undergone several floral changes since summer. Currently, in addition to the ongoing second phase of angel flowers, yellow cosmos and sunflowers have also quietly begun to bloom along the outer edge of the angel flower sea base. This year’s Guandu Flower Sea sunflower field features a dwarf, double-petal, multi-flower variety, which differs from the commonly seen tall-stemmed, large-bloomed sunflowers, offering visitors a fresh floral experience. The golden yellow cosmos fields complement the charming purple angel flowers in bloom, with each base’s differently colored flower seas providing delightful views.

The Guandu Flower Sea Festival will continue to rotate through seasonal blooms until February 2018. After that, purple sage and large Persian buttercup displays will also make their appearances.
