1.Nantou Zhinan Temple
It is said that as long as worshippers use the borrowed gold for making a living, their wishes will be granted. Therefore, every Lunar New Year, thousands of worshippers flock to Zhinan Temple in Zhushan, Nantou. Originally established to help worshippers live more smoothly, this gave rise to the “Fude Gold” borrowing and repayment system, hoping to receive the sponsorship of the Earth God and enjoy continuous wealth in the coming year.

2.Yunlin Beigang Wude Temple
Beigang Wude Temple in Yunlin is said to be Taiwan’s first God of Wealth temple. Its interior is lavishly decorated and majestic, featuring a massive golden incense burner over forty feet tall, known as the Heavenly Treasury, which is quite spectacular. During the Lunar New Year, the temple also distributes limited “Heavenly Official Bestows Blessings” small red envelopes for worshippers to take home for good luck.

3.Taichung Beitun Guangtian Temple
Beitun Guangtian Temple in Taichung offers a golden wealth egg — peeling the shell symbolizes getting rid of bad luck, while eating the egg brings good fortune. Rubbing the big gold ingot is believed to bring wealth home.

4.Kaohsiung Lingya Guan Di Temple
At Lingya Guan Di Temple in Kaohsiung, you can buy a piece of gold foil from the temple and stick it on the golden ox inside — different parts have different meanings. In addition, the temple’s gate guardians featuring foreigners are a unique and interesting feature.
