Japanese Yoshinoya Group acquires 66.5% stake in Setagaya Ramen, making it a subsidiary

Last updated 2026-09-25 — Recently, the biggest news in Japan’s food and beverage industry was that the Yoshinoya Group, known for its beef bowls, announced it has acquired a 66.5% stake in Setagaya (せたが屋) Ramen, making it one of the group’s subsidiaries. Setagaya Ramen was also introduced to Taiwan in 2015 and currently has two branches: Taipei Zhongxiao Store and HOYII North Station Store.

Recently, the biggest news in Japan’s food and beverage industry was that the Yoshinoya Group, known for its beef bowls<起家的吉野家集团,宣布取得世田屋(せたが屋)拉面的66.5%股权,世田屋拉面成为吉野家集团的子公司之一。世田屋拉面2015年也被引进台湾,目前有台北忠孝店与HOYII北车站店两家分店。

In fact, in recent years, the Yoshinoya Group has not only sold beef bowls<,也开始新创其他品牌,包括有乌冬面品牌“花丸”,以牛肉为中心的どん牛排、烤牛排店Volks、寿喜锅どん亭(台湾日前也引进)、及どん意大利餐厅,以及以寿司为发展中心的京樽与寿司三崎丸、海鲜三崎港品牌。

As for Setagaya Ramen, in which the Yoshinoya Group has acquired a 66.5% stake, its founder is Tsukasa Maeshima. The first store was established in 2000 in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, with a broth made by simmering fish stock, pork bones, and soy sauce. In 2008, it expanded to New York, USA, and is the only Japanese food outlet to have received the “Best Of New York” award.
