Free new attraction opens for Spring Festival: A super romantic Southern European-style sea church

Another romantic church is set to open soon. The "Sea Church" located in the Dapeng Bay International Leisure Zone within the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area will officially begin trial operations on February 5th, the first day of the Lunar New Year. During the Spring Festival, large-scale installation art will also be installed. Head to the southernmost part of the country to explore new spots, enjoy beautiful scenery, and experience a variety of land, sea, and air amusement facilities including lake cruises, G2 racetrack go-karts, and parasailing — fun and thrilling.

This sea church standing in the waters of Dapeng Bay features a lofty design and a fairytale-like butter-yellow exterior, with pink-toned interiors that add a strong romantic ambiance to the entire bay area. The Spanish-style sea church built along the southern embankment brings an exotic Mediterranean resort vibe.

In addition to being a perfect photo spot, the Sea Church offers free admission. It will also serve as an exhibition space and a venue for couples to hold wedding ceremonies. Strolling along the 300-meter-long embankment while enjoying the gentle sea breeze and warm sunlight makes it a highly fitting destination for the Spring Festival, Valentine’s Day, or the Lantern Festival.

In addition to the new highlight, the Sea Church, the Dapeng Bay International Leisure Zone also features the country's first international racetrack, a go-kart track certified by the Chinese Racing Association for safety, the Oriental Resort Hotel, as well as water activities such as mangrove canoe experiences, a bay-loop cycling path, parasailing, pedal boats, and banana boat rides.
