Michelin today proudly unveiled the carefully selected list of its first-ever Taipei Michelin Guide, featuring a total of 110 restaurants that span 33 different cuisines. Among these 110 establishments, a total of 20 restaurants have been awarded stars. In this first release, the Cantonese restaurant Royal Palace has earned the extraordinary honor of a Michelin three-star rating.

Royal Palace showcases exquisite and refined Cantonese and other Chinese cuisines through authentic and traditional cooking techniques. Its head chef, Chan Wai Keung, moved from Macau to Taiwan nearly 20 years ago.

Head Chef Chan and his team are all culinary experts proficient in a wide range of Chinese cuisines. The dining experience here is truly magnificent and well worth a special trip. Dishes such as Royal Palace’s flame-grilled Peking duck served three ways, lobster, and tofu creations are exquisitely delicious, and the classic egg tarts are also unforgettable. All dishes have received unanimous praise from Michelin inspectors.
