Compared to neighboring Thailand, Vietnam’s tourism industry started later due to the impact of war. However, in recent years, the Vietnamese government has actively supported tourism development. Many internationally renowned hotel groups have already entered the market, and new tourism facilities continue to emerge. For example, the Golden Bridge, which opened in mid-2018, features a pair of giant hands on a cliff holding up a golden skywalk — a spectacular sight that allows visitors to overlook the city of Da Nang in central Vietnam from the 1,500-meter-high Ba Na Hills.

Vietnam, once a French colony, is located on the eastern coast of the Indochinese Peninsula. With its long and narrow landform, the country boasts diverse and ever-changing landscapes. Amateur photographer Trung Pham Huy has traveled across the north and south, using drones to capture lesser-known yet captivating scenery in Vietnam. His works mainly focus on rural areas, striving to showcase vibrant colors and intriguing patterns — offering a different charm compared to the Sino-Western fusion architecture found in urban areas.

Although Trung Pham Huy's profession is engineering, he has won multiple awards in international photography competitions, including the Sony World Photography Awards 2018 and the Skypixel Photo Contest 2017. More of his works can be seen on Instagram.
