Every summer and autumn is the blooming season for daylilies. In addition to the famous Liushizishan and Chike Mountain in Hualien, the Jiade Flower Field in Jianshan Township also offers beautiful flatland daylilies to admire. Here, you can find daylilies in a variety of colors, with over 30,000 plants cultivated across a hectare of farmland.

The magnificent display of the daylily sea every May
In addition to vast fields of daylilies, the Jiade Daylily Garden also grows a variety of flowers such as roses, hollyhocks, wisteria, and peonies. The garden owner has improved high-mountain daylilies and, after years of cultivation, successfully bred diverse flatland daylilies, each with its own unique number and name.
Light yellow 'Yellow Swan' daylilies
The flower fields in the park are expansive, with a rich variety of blossoms. There are five types of daylilies that bloom in succession, including pink, deep red, light yellow, orange, and bright red, creating a vibrant and colorful floral seascape. The daylily blooming season lasts from the end of May to the end of June, with some varieties starting to bloom as early as mid-April. The park offers free entry for visitors to enjoy the flowers.
