The trendy hand-shaken drink shop “Tigersugar,” which officially opened in the Taichung Zhongshan District business area last November, has become a renowned name for its unique method of hand-roasting brown sugar and drizzling it along the rim of the cup, creating a stunning “tiger stripe” visual effect. The shop’s signature brown sugar boba thick fresh milk infuses the local Taiwanese brown sugar flavor into chewy boba pearls through a slow-braising process. Within just a short period after opening, it attracted a large fan base who queued up eagerly to try it. Recently, aside from the buzz online about its expansion to Hong Kong in May, Tigersugar also announced plans to open a new branch further north, quickly becoming a hot topic.

Recently, Tigersugar announced it will launch in Shilin Night Market on April 26, and it’s expected that large crowds will again gather to try the drink.
Since its opening, Tigersugar’s popularity has soared, with long queues not only on weekends but also frequently on weekdays.
