Capture Three Majestic Sceneries in One Ride: Taoyuan Coastal Cycling Day Tour

Taoyuan is known as the "Land of a Thousand Ponds." Besides its lush inland landscapes, the coastal area also boasts many breathtaking sights, making it perfect for planning a cycling trip. Located south of Yong’an Fishing Port, the "Xinyi Green Corridor" is the most extensive dedicated bicycle path in northern Taiwan, featuring three major sceneries along the way: sea views, desert landscapes, and a green tunnel. It’s a great choice for a family outdoor activity.

The bike path winds through cool woods while being caressed by the sea breeze from the adjacent coastal road. Here you can also see the Xinyi Century Stone Weirs, the largest group of stone weirs on the main island of Taiwan. Within just under 10 kilometers of coastline, there are more than ten stone weirs with over a century of history, which look from afar like a Great Wall at sea.

The route also passes by sandy beaches and coastal areas with large dune formations, complemented by large-scale installations, along with a system of pathways, wooden boardwalks, viewing pavilions, and landscape interpretation facilities—facilities that are very well-equipped. When tired, you can rest on uniquely designed seats and use considerately placed restrooms.
