Kyoto’s World Heritage Site, Shimogamo Shrine, has launched the "Festival of Light" in collaboration with creative group teamLab. The event features interactive light installations with projected lights and floating orbs. A must-visit spot for Taiwanese tourists in Kyoto, this year’s “Festival of Light” at Shimogamo Shrine kicks off on August 17 and runs for two weeks. This light show, integrated with the shrine’s surroundings, uses purple light orbs with projection and interactive lighting designs. When people approach or tap the orbs, their internal lights change or emit sounds.
