Every year when the Dragon Boat Festival arrives, Changhua’s Lukang transforms into a vibrant and colorful destination. This year marks the 41st edition of the “Lukang Dragon Boat Festival Celebration,” which is not only one of Taiwan’s top twelve major festivals but also the oldest and largest Dragon Boat Festival event in the country.

This year’s event combines tradition with innovation. In addition to dragon boat races, there are also an Art Village Light Corridor, the Guild Hall Light Sculpture Theater, a Blessing and Lantern Lighting Ceremony, as well as family-friendly experiences and a food market. Visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of historic cultural sites and enjoy delicious street food at the recreational market.
