From July 11 to 13, ANA will participate in the biennial Farnborough International Airshow in the UK. At this international airshow, ANA will showcase its specially painted 787-9 aircraft featuring Japan’s most iconic cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji.

This “Sakura Fuji” livery aircraft is ANA’s 13th Boeing 787-9 and the 49th member of ANA’s Dreamliner fleet. On the traditional blue-and-white corporate livery, soft brushstrokes of Mount Fuji and light pink cherry blossoms have been added on both sides. Though not a full-body paint design, it looks elegant and refined. The livery aircraft is also expected to be officially delivered this month.

ANA stated that participating in the Farnborough International Airshow marks the airline becoming the first Japanese carrier to take part in this international event, following its history-making achievement as the world’s first airline to operate the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
