Alishan Cherry Blossom Season
The cherry blossom clusters on Alishan are in full bloom, with their pink hues dotting the mountains and forests—no matter how you shoot, it’s photogenic. Now on Alishan, you can admire varieties such as Taiwan cherry, Ryukyu Taiwan cherry, Formosan cherry, and turtle cherry. Beautiful seas of cherry blossoms line the path, greeting travelers—super healing!

A sea of brownish-orange bald cypress trees looks, at first glance, like you’ve been transported to a romantic foreign land. Zhongpu Bald Cypress has always been one of the most popular bald cypress secret spots in Chiayi. Although it’s now the tail end of the bald cypress season, you can still catch the very last moments of this seasonal beauty.

Xingang Anhe Village Straw Bales
In Chiayi’s Xingang Anhe Village, you can not only admire seas of cosmos flowers but also take photos in the nearby fields of straw bales from fallow farmland. The rolled-up straw bales lying in the fields give off a distinctly foreign rural vibe. This special scenery is unique to the countryside—super healing and adorable.
