Each stall showcases creative shapes to catch the eye, whether animal-themed or other unique forms, all of which are hugely popular. Below is a collection of five dog breed-shaped egg cakes from across Taiwan.

1.Canine Head Cake.
The flagship store of “Canine Head Cake” is located on Guohua Street in Tainan. It was the first to create a French Bulldog-shaped mochi cake, and the store quickly went viral on Instagram for its incredibly cute French Bulldog design. It now has branches across northern, central, and southern Taiwan, attracting many visitors. Fillings include red bean, peanut, sweet potato, custard, matcha, chocolate, and more—there’s even a plain version for those who prefer less sweetness.

2. Canine Bakery – Specialty Mochi Cakes
Canine Bakery developed its products starting with German sausages, designing pastry in the shape of dachshunds. Using the dachshund’s long body, the entire German sausage is wrapped inside the Canine Bakery cake—extremely satisfying. They’ve also created many special flavors, with limited-edition varieties available Monday through Friday.

However, the dog shape and logo were actually inspired by the owner’s bald poodle.
