Tainan’s wildly popular stroll-and-sweet treat, Juanwei Family ice cream, was awarded the silver medal in the East Asia region at the World Ice Cream Contest in September 2015. This year, it steps out of Taiwan to establish its first overseas store in Japan, which opened on October 11 (Thursday) in Sangenjaya, Setagaya, Tokyo.

Juanwei Family ice cream features unique flavors, having created over 110 varieties to date. The Sangenjaya branch carefully selects its ice cream flavors and offers varied toppings, serving two different ice cream flavors each week. To celebrate the opening of its first overseas store, it has also developed a Sangenjaya-exclusive “tea jelly” and “milk tea.”
