After nearly six months of renovation, the basement level of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Nishi has become a must-visit gourmet street for food lovers, featuring 22 food brands, seven of which are exclusive to Taiwan.

1. Yume Jitsugen Itto
Yume Jitsugen Itto is a new brand launched in Taiwan by Mr. Yukihiko Sakamoto, president of Menya Itto in Japan. Sharing the same name as its Japanese counterpart, besides three fixed ramen offerings — French Truffle Chicken Soup Ramen, Thai Red Curry Shrimp Ramen, and the uniquely flavored Kyushu Yuzu Spicy Cold Noodles — a different limited-edition flavor is introduced each month. The first launch features Tsukiji Seafood Assorted Cold Noodles, made with angel red shrimp, sea urchin, salmon roe, and mentaiko, available daily in limited supply.

2. Lao Ding Wang Kung Fu Addictive Noodles
Kung Fu Addictive Noodles is a new brand from Lao Ding Wang at Shin Kong Nishi, aiming to offer consumers a different take on Lao Ding. The opening highlights include Kung Fu Addictive Noodles, Bone-Melting Spicy Claws, and Addictive Runny Egg Yolk. Free from chemical additives, these flavorful instant noodles deliver a simple yet naturally delicious taste with rich spiciness.

3. Mi Tang
Following the success of the Italian vegetarian cuisine brand “MiaCucina” at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, the newly launched “Mi Tang” focuses on Chinese-style vegetarian rice rolls. Branded as an upgraded version of Yonghe Soy Milk, it aims to promote healthier eating habits.

4. Shi Ji Shan Can (Four Seasons Canteen)
Shi Ji Shan Can is a new creation by Japanese ramen chef Morizumi Koji, envisioning a post-WWII Western-style canteen as Western cuisine flooded Japan after the war.
