The Love River in Kaohsiung has long been a major attraction for the city’s tourism scene. There are many scenic spots along both banks of the river, with walking paths and bike lanes, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll. With the recent inauguration of Mayor Han Kuo-yu, the crowds visiting the Love River during the holiday season are bound to be significant.

2. MITSUI OUTLET PARKTaichung Harbor
The MITSUI OUTLET PARK at Taichung Harbor is definitely a key destination for people going on spring outings during the New Year. With freshly received red envelopes burning a hole in their pockets, visitors are sure to spend a little to soak up the festive spirit. 3.Keelung and North Coast
Known as one of Northern Taiwan’s most beautiful coastlines, Keelung’s Badouzi area features a railway bike experience jointly developed by the New Taipei City Government and Taiwan Railways. It combines stunning coastal views, coastal ecology, coal mining culture, and railway elements, offering travelers a deeper understanding of the North Coast. With good weather during the New Year, it’s the perfect time to explore the North Coast. You can also sample super fresh seafood, and find a seaside café where the whole family can sit, sip coffee, and enjoy desserts—pure happiness.

4.Breeze Nan Shan
The new Breeze Nan Shan, located in Taipei’s Xinyi District at the landmark Nanshan Plaza, officially opened this January. Japanese retailer Atre has set up shop here, anchored by Blue Bottle Coffee and a host of other brands. With a collection of dining and fashion outlets, locals staying in Taipei for the holidays can take this opportunity to explore.
