Wuling Farm is a popular cherry blossom destination in Taiwan. Every year during the Lunar New Year, the farm is packed with flower-viewing visitors. This year, traffic control measures will be in place from February 7 to 27. Day-trippers planning to visit during the control period must apply for a permit to enter the mountain.

From December to January each year, Wuling Farm’s plum blossoms are in full bloom, including varieties such as red plum, white plum, and wintersweet. February marks the Wuling Cherry Blossom Festival. Currently, mountain cherries have begun to bloom, and some Early Pink and Showa cherry blossoms are also slightly ahead of schedule. Visitors who come now have the chance to see both plum and cherry blossoms.

Traffic control applies to day-trippers without overnight accommodation. To avoid an influx of vehicles, only public transportation for day trips is allowed. Additionally, the farm is open 24 hours a year-round. Outside the control period, no permit is required, there is no traffic control, and no reservation is needed—visitors can enter the farm as usual.

Day-trippers entering the farm on motorcycles, scooters, or bicycles do not need a permit. They can purchase tickets directly at the ticket booth and park at the designated South Valley parking area under the management of traffic control personnel. Riding within the farm is not permitted. The controlled road section is only Provincial Highway 124, which is the road from Highway 7A into Wuling Farm. Highway 7A has no restrictions and can be driven through normally.

Plum blossoms are already in full bloom, and cherry blossoms seem to be quietly starting early. To avoid traffic jams on mountain roads, you can enjoy the flowers a week early, dodging the crowds and savoring the tranquil fragrance of the mountains.
