Since its opening last July, the LOVE View Platform in Sanyi Township, Yilan, a popular tourist attraction, has quickly become a favorite spot for visitors to take photos and check in. While it draws crowds, it has also brought environmental littering that significantly dampens the romantic atmosphere. Despite repeated clean-ups by the township office, the bad behavior persists, leading to the decision to install surveillance cameras and penalize offenders.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, Sanyi Township Mayor Huang Xiyong suggests that, besides the LOVE View Platform, visitors can also take a stroll along the three colorful painted bridges along the Anrong River, which are adorned with floral designs, balloons, and vibrant hues, or visit the Lockman Corridor featuring nighttime light displays to enjoy a romantic experience with their partners.
