At the press conference, Sha Baoliang, renowned singer, founder of the running team, and shareholder of the Altai Mountain Wilderness Ski Park, gave a speech in which he briefly reviewed the team’s challenging journey over the past three years and introduced the significant meaning of this "Sha Chu Chong Wei Inter-city Adventure – Activate the Eternal Ice and Snow Gene" event. He also detailed the main itinerary of the activity. This inter-city adventure features a major upgrade in format, evolving from just running to incorporating a relay of activities such as riding Harleys, horseback riding, and driving off-road vehicles, culminating in reaching the birthplace of human skiing in Altay. A kick-off festival will be held at the Altai Wilderness Ski Park to further promote skiing. The event runs from theYESShabao Liang, founder of the running group and shareholder of the Altay Mountain Wild Snow Park, gave a speech, briefly reviewing the hard journey of the running group over the past three years, and introduced the significant meaning of this “Breaking Boundaries: City-to-City Adventure – Activating Millennia-Old Ice and Snow DNA” event, detailing the main itinerary along the route.YESThis city-to-city adventure will feature a major upgrade in gameplay, evolving from just running as a single sport to a relay combination of various activities such as riding Harley-Davidsons, horseback riding, and driving off-road vehicles, ultimately arriving at the birthplace of human skiing—Altay. Altay is the earliest birthplace of human skiing.2015In that year, the China Altay International Ancient Skiing Culture Exchange Seminar was held in Altay City. Over18countries, including Norway, Sweden, and Finland, sent more than30skiing history research experts who jointly issued the "Altay Declaration," recognizing that Altay in Xinjiang, China, is the oldest skiing region in the world. The claim that Altay is the earliest origin of human skiing has gained international recognition. Lu Qi, Chief Economist of the Altai Mountains State-owned Forest Administration, and Tang Zhigang, General Manager of the Altai Mountains Wild Snow Park, delivered speeches respectively, introducing the history, culture, and high-quality ice and snow tourism resources of the Altay region to the attendees, and welcoming skiers from all over the country.
