Annual Halloween is back again. In the past, you could spot people dressed as ghosts and monsters on Taiwan's streets and MRTs—always fun. But this Halloween, a horde of zombies will appear on the Kaohsiung Light Rail. You’ll ride the light rail to the “Spooky Music Party” and rock the Halloween night away.

Kaohsiung’s Dream Mall has created the “Spooky Music Party” for the first time, themed around Mexican Day of the Dead symbols and music. It invites all those who love to show off and dare to perform to dress up as realistic zombies at 5:30 PM on the day of the event, join the “Spooky Zombie Parade,” and then take the light rail together to the “Spooky Music Party” at Dream Mall for a unique Halloween celebration. Attendees will even receive a free bottle of beer—essential for any music party.
The zombie parade is free to join, and attendees will get a free bottle of beer.
In addition, there will be live performances by amateur singers dressed in special Day of the Dead costumes at the fountain plaza on the first floor of Dream Mall in the afternoon, helping to liven up the atmosphere.
It is expected that over 200 people will participate in the zombie parade and take the light rail together to Dream Mall.
The “Spooky Zombie Parade” is free to join, and participants are encouraged to do their own zombie makeup at home. For those who don’t know how, the event site will provide black and white face paints, and tattoo artists will be on hand to help everyone quickly create their zombie look. If you don’t have other Halloween plans, become a zombie for a day at Dream Mall in Kaohsiung.
