Sauga Shark Dock Restaurant, located behind the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, is a unique fusion of a gastropub, a seaside restaurant, and a yacht marina.

The restaurant is built with shipping containers. The first floor includes an indoor kitchen, bar, and dining area, while the second floor offers outdoor terrace seating with a spectacular view.
The indoor bar and dining area on the first floor have a wonderful ambiance at night.
In addition to offering food and drinks, you can enjoy the sea breeze here, watch the sunset over the sea, and experience the enchanting nightlife of the harbor city.
The scenic restaurant is directly backed by the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center.
The marina restaurant brings a beach vacation vibe to the shipping container structure, drawing inspiration from sharks to create a harbor restaurant that makes customers feel as if they’re in a foreign dock.
The direction the restaurant faces the sea is exactly where the sun sets.
Since you can enjoy both the sunset and night scenery, it’s perfect for dates—whether romantic or with friends. Enjoy some light bites and drinks, and you can easily chat for hours. Note that the open-air seating is limited, so be sure to call ahead to reserve a spot to avoid disappointment.
