Longyan Village, situated within the Taiping Scenic Area at the border between Meishan in Chiayi and Gukeng in Yunlin, benefits from its high elevation, which delays the maturation of crops. This results in superior quality tea and coffee. Longyan Village is also the birthplace of Taiwan’s high mountain oolong tea.

In recent years, Longyan Village coffee has achieved excellent results in Taiwan’s Coffee Festival specialty coffee bean evaluation competitions, winning the raw bean evaluation championship in 2012. To promote naturally grown Longyan coffee, the “Six Senses Coffee Experience” was created to help more people understand the quality of Longyan coffee through hands-on workshops.

Zeng Yongli, owner of Fumo Coffee Estate, said that the “Six Senses Coffee Experience” was established to promote Longyan coffee. Visitors not only learn about Longyan coffee but also how to brew a perfect cup.

Additionally, visitors can package their own hanging filter coffee bags at the estate, grinding the beans and designing custom outer packaging. The experience is easy for all ages, allowing families to enjoy a relaxing and fun time at the estate.
