AirAsia, which has been awarded Skytrax’s “World’s Best Low-Cost Airline” for ten consecutive years, officially entered the Japanese market in October this year and announced on the 20th that it will launch a new direct flight route from Taipei to Nagoya. The flights operate seven days a week, flying every day from Monday to Sunday, marking the first international route of AirAsia Japan, a subsidiary of the AirAsia Group.
AirAsia Japan’s first international route, “Taipei–Nagoya,” will officially commence on February 1, 2019, with ticket sales starting at noon on December 24, 2018, on its official website.
AirAsia Japan launched its first domestic route, “Nagoya–New Chitose,” in October 2017, operating six round trips daily, and its first international route, “Taipei–Nagoya,” will also officially begin on February 1, 2019. Introductory prices start as low as NT$99 (excluding tax) one-way, with the next price tier also available from just NT$999 (excluding tax) one-way. Ticket sales will officially begin at noon on December 24, 2018, on the official website.
