Rain is expected in northeastern Taiwan, with scattered showers in the north, east, southeast, and Matsu. Other areas, including Penghu and Kinmen, will be mostly cloudy to sunny. This weather pattern will continue through Tuesday the 8th. Starting Wednesday, conditions will stabilize slightly, with temperatures rising by about 2–3°C. By Thursday daytime, highs could exceed 25°C, though temperature variations will remain large—take care to avoid catching a cold. Temperatures will begin to dip again slightly on Friday.
Starting Saturday, Keelung, northeastern Taiwan, and the eastern half of the island will see rain again, lasting through Sunday. Those planning weekend trips to the northeast or eastern regions should pay attention to weather changes.
