Limited summer release for 15 days – J-Ping guest chef debuts 3 new hot pot dishes at 22:02

“22:02 Hot Pot. Lifestyle” is a well-known hot pot restaurant, while Chef Wang Jiaping (J-Ping) is famously dubbed “the Taiwanese who cooks Italian cuisine best.” What kind of sparks will their collaboration ignite? J-Ping has created three new summer dishes for “22:02 Hot Pot. Lifestyle,” among which the Quinine Chicken Meatballs are made entirely from 80-day-old quinine chickens—using their skin, meat, liver, and cartilage to form the balls, resulting in a texture completely different from ordinary meatballs.

This summer menu collaboration by J-Ping for 22:02 runs from August 1 to August 15. The new dishes include Quinine Chicken Meatballs, Barcelona Kumquat Sauce, and post-meal Summer Sophia Loren. The Quinine Chicken Meatballs (NT$360 for 6 pieces) are made from minced skin, meat, and liver of 80-day-old quinine chickens, with added minced chicken cartilage to enhance the layered texture. The Barcelona Kumquat Sauce (complimentary) is made with Hakka kumquat jam and almonds. During the promotion period, this sauce is offered as an additional option alongside the regular dipping sauces.

As for the Summer Sophia Loren (limited availability, NT$139 per cup), it’s made with lemon sorbet, a hint of organic lemon peel, and vodka.

In addition, “22:02 Hot Pot. Lifestyle” has also launched new items, including fresh beef delivered directly from Tainan to Taipei (NT$388 for 150g), Six Treasures Braised Delicacies (priced at NT$338), and live Thai shrimp (priced at NT$268 for 5 pieces). Moreover, customers who spend over NT$1,000 at the 22:02 Hot Pot. Lifestyle Bade Branch from August 1 to August 15 will receive a NT$100 voucher for weekday business lunches at Solo Trattoria.
