Have you ever seen an alternative ordering method using “block combinations”? On the shiny counter sit over 30 ingredient blocks. Pick your favorites, place them in the white rectangular block, press the confirmation button at the checkout sensor, and before long, you’ll enjoy your very own exclusive Up juice!

“Dochi Juice” has locations in both Taichung and Tainan. Their ordering method is quite special—the shop has added a clever touch to the fluorescent counter, where you’ll find a row of colorful small blocks. Upon closer inspection, you’ll discover they’re printed with various fruit and vegetable patterns, such as carrots, mangoes, watermelons, and pumpkins. In addition to fruits and vegetables, customers can also choose side blocks like pudding, milk, and Yakult to add different flavors.

After selecting your favorite three ingredient blocks, you can ask the staff for a long rectangular block, place the selected ones inside, and move it to the checkout area. The bottom sensor will then perform a comprehensive analysis of the ingredients, displaying their nutritional content, calories, and other info on the screen. It will also indicate the health benefits of your custom juice, leaving customers impressed by how thoughtful and fun the process is.

At the same time, the shop promotes a “three no’s” principle: no sugar, no water, and no ice—ensuring that every customer enjoys a juice packed with fiber and fruit bits. If the selected ingredients don’t produce enough juice to fill the bottle, the staff will supplement it with a bit of fresh fruit juice to ensure a full serving.
