The 2018 Asia Leisure Outdoor Industry Summit Forum aims to thoroughly implement the spirit of relevant documents such as the "Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Accelerating the Development of Fitness and Leisure Industries" (Guo Ban Fa [2016] No. 77), the "Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Further Expanding Consumption in the Fields of Tourism, Culture, Sports, Health, Elderly Care, and Education and Training" (Guo Ban Fa [2016] No. 85), and the "Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Development of All-for-One Tourism." It fully implements the clauses concerning vigorous development of mass leisure industries, cultural and tourism industries, and mountain outdoor sports, and accelerates the integrated development of various sectors including sports, tourism, culture, and distinctive outdoor activities.

At 10:30 am, MARK, Deputy Secretary-General of the Asia Leisure Sports Tourism Industry Association, delivered the first message for the summit forum. This form has gradually become popular and gained public favor in China as well. Subsequently, Li Gangbin, a doyen in China’s outdoor training field and one of its founding figures, delivered a speech for the summit. Starting with his experience of overseas outdoor training inspections in 1991, he briefly described how outdoor training gradually gained public acceptance over 28 years but still faces an awkward status within the industry. He highly praised Zhejiang Province for taking the lead in making a breakthrough by establishing the first provincially registered industry association under the Civil Affairs Department. He also noted that the summit will lead the outdoor training industry into a brand-new stage of development, and expressed his intention to use his influence to promote cross-border integration of tourism, leisure, and outdoor training, thereby better advancing the rapid development of the sports-tourism industry.

Next, Ms. Han Yu, Chairwoman of the China Team Building Industry Alliance and founder of Beijing E-TeamBuilding, delivered a speech titled “Cross-border Integration · Leading the Future.” Closely tying in with the development of the team building industry, she pointed out that the future trend of the industry will undoubtedly be cross-border, connected, and integrated. The deep integration of team building with tourism, leisure, and outdoor expansion industries will generate tremendous business opportunities and build a more comprehensive ecosystem for the team building industry.

Finally, Mi Ronggen, representative of Yaolin Town in Zhejiang, China, warmly welcomed everyone on behalf of the Yaolin Town government. At 11:30 am, the inauguration ceremony of the China Branch of the Asia Leisure Sports Tourism Industry Association was officially launched. Tripartite Cooperation Agreement Signing
Following the press conference, the 2018 Asia Leisure Outdoor Industry Summit Forum will officially commence. This 2018 Asia Leisure Outdoor Industry Summit Forum is hosted by the Asia Leisure Sports Tourism Industry Association and co-organized by the Zhejiang Leisure Expansion Industry Association, the People’s Government of Tonglu County, and the People’s Government of Yaolin Town. It invites relevant associations, organizations, industry leaders, and enterprises from across Asia to participate in discussions. The summit will gather collective strength to create an Asian mountain outdoor sports industry summit that integrates a high-level forum, sporting events, and a capital matchmaking meeting. Events include team pontoon bridges, double-person rock climbing, high-altitude equipment suspension, double-person ladder climbing, mountain outdoor cross-country races, pioneer engineering projects, team graduation walls, wilderness rock climbing competitions, camping gatherings, and design proposal competitions.
