On December 25, a cycling route inauguration and bicycle donation ceremony was held at the Country Park in Henghe Town, Boluo County, Huizhou City. Over 200 outdoor sports enthusiasts from various places were among the first to experience the new cycling route. During the ceremony, the Boluo County Government Office and Finance Bureau donated 80 bicycles to Henghe Town for use in providing cycling services to visitors.

Clear streams, lush green vegetables, and golden oranges… Along the cycling route in Henghe Country Park, the beautiful scenery elicited frequent exclamations of admiration from riders, many of whom stopped to take photos. “The air in Henghe Town is fresh, and the natural scenery is gorgeous—it’s perfect for cycling. We’ve already organized several large-scale cycling events here,” Huang Tangzhu, a netizen from Huizhou, told the reporter. “The launch of this cycling route provides us outdoor enthusiasts with more convenience for cycling in Henghe.”
It is understood that the Henghe Country Park cycling route starts from the town’s tourism service center, passes through Xiqun, Xijiao, Zhangbei Village, and other areas, spanning a total of 11.8 kilometers. It is a circular eco-leisure cycling trail. The route features beautiful surroundings, fresh air, and picturesque farmland and pristine natural landscapes. Visitors can also explore the Henghe She Ethnic Culture Garden to experience the unique cultural traditions of the She people. It’s an ideal destination for weekend trips or holidays with family and friends.
Henghe Town is located in the heart of Luofu Mountain and is the only township in Boluo County without any industrial or mining enterprises. According to officials from Henghe Town, it is one of the pilot towns in the province’s Famous Towns and Villages development initiative, with a positioning as the “Back Garden of Luofu, an Eco-Leisure Town.” The creation of this cycling route is a key measure in the town’s efforts to build a renowned town in southern China. In the process of establishing itself as a notable town, Henghe will focus on ecology and culture, deeply exploring and integrating the tourism resources of all villages, vigorously advancing the development of the country park, and creating a space suitable for cycling, hiking, and outdoor activities. The goal is for every village to become a scenic spot, every area a park, with villages connected by greenways to form a leisure-oriented ecological activity base, aiming to establish a 4A-level leisure tourism destination. Moving forward, the town plans to further enhance the Henghe Country Park cycling route through measures such as adding route nodes, improving attraction facilities, refining road signage, and upgrading road infrastructure.
