Reporters recently learned from the 10th National Outdoor Sports Club Annual Conference that two major national-level outdoor sports events will be held in Wenzhou in the first half of 2012. They are the “National Outdoor Sports Challenge” in Daluo Mountain in April and the “National Outdoor Club Skills Competition” in Nanxi River in June.
At this annual conference, after voting by local outdoor sports associations (including exploration associations, mountaineering associations, etc.) across the country and over a hundred outdoor sports clubs, Lv Junwu, Secretary-General of the Wenzhou Mountaineering Association, was elected by a large margin as a member of the Fourth Professional Committee of the China Mountaineering Association. Wenzhou Temptation Outdoor Sports Co., Ltd. won the title of one of the “Top Ten” National Outdoor Sports Clubs in 2011 with the highest number of votes.
