"The moon shines bright over the land, some laugh while others weep" — this shows that the same situation can have vastly different outcomes for different people. Recently, the European Outdoor Industry Association provided us with a very representative example.
On December 29, 2011, the European Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) released its November "VantagePoint" survey report. The report shows that while the sales of other products declined due to seasonal changes, outdoor products stood out and continued to lead the merchandise sales market. Among them, outdoor shoes and outdoor sportswear showed the most promising market prospects. Since November, the net sales growth of outdoor products reached $4.757 million. Even the traditional "Black Friday" could not dampen the booming season for outdoor products.
The rise of one industry does not necessarily mean the decline of all others. Riding on the success of outdoor products, outdoor light industrial products also enjoyed favorable conditions. In contrast, the sales of indoor products and electronics did not increase but declined this month. The "electronics big brother" has finally relinquished its top spot in the sales industry.
Nowadays, more and more people are using outdoor sports to relax themselves, and those willing to spend generously for their own enjoyment are even more numerous. "Living in the present and living happily" has made people increasingly aware of the importance of outdoor sports. Indeed, galloping through snowy mountain fields and indulging in the cliffs and horizons is truly one of life’s greatest joys.
"Looking up at the vastness of the universe, and down at the abundance of all things — truly a source of joy!"
