Yesterday, while browsing outdoor news, I discovered that Russell Athletic is making another move.
On December 29, 2011, the well-known sportswear brand Russell Athletic announced that it would fully sponsor all the uniforms for the America's Cup. The first event to feature their sponsorship will be the East vs. West All-Star Game.
It has been reported that "Russell Athletic" will provide athletes with newly designed jerseys: improved breathability, maximum comfort, and enhanced sleeve design technology. Through this event sponsorship, Russell Athletic has also elevated its own brand design. If all goes as expected, all American football matches in 2012 will also be under the Russell Athletic banner.
Not only will the athletes be rewarded—spectators attending the games will also receive gifts from Russell Athletic, including blazers, polo shirts, practice jerseys and pants, T-shirts, sweatbands, and gloves.
