BlackDiamond (BD), a global leader in climbing, skiing, and mountain sports equipment innovation, announced a series of recent achievements and product award wins to kick off 2012.

Award Wins:
The AMPerage ski from the freeride ski line was honored with Men’s Journal’s “Gear of the Year” 2012. Black Diamond’s Carbon Megawatt ski for the next winter season in the skiing category earned another accolade.
At the SIA SNOW SHOW in Denver, Colorado, Outside magazine awarded “Gear of the Show” to Black Diamond’s Carbon Megawatt from the travel line.
At ISPO MUNICH 2012 in Munich, Germany, Black Diamond’s Magnetron GridLock magnetic locking carabiner received the prestigious Plus X Award.
