In order to strengthen management, the qualifications of all mountaineers and climbing teams wishing to climb high-altitude peaks in Tibet must be reviewed by the Tibet Mountaineering Association. Climbing without obtaining an entry permit is considered illegal.
Since the corresponding application for climbing Mount Everest had already been approved by the Tibet Mountaineering Association, the DiDa Mountaineering Team smoothly obtained the entry permit yesterday morning. Taking into account the public welfare nature of the team and other actual conditions, the Tibet Mountaineering Association also offered certain discounts on registration fees and management fees.
Yesterday morning, two military tents, a generator, as well as seven tables and 20 chairs and other equipment were also rented and delivered. These items will be used at the Everest Base Camp and advance camps.
