        In recent years, outdoor sports in Shanghai have developed rapidly. According to statistics, the city now has 31 team-building training bases, 14 operational rock climbing venues, and over 30 outdoor sports clubs, with nearly 200,000 people participating in outdoor activities each year. Coinciding with this year’s inaugural Shanghai Citizens' Sports Games, the Shanghai Mountaineering Association’s flagship events — the Hiking Festival, Urban Orienteering Race, and Rock Climbing Competition — have been incorporated into the official games program, reflecting the growing popularity of outdoor activities among the general public.
