In recent years, Taiwan has seen many incredibly popular scenic trails, and the "Taixingyan Trail" in Meishan Township, Chiayi is no newcomer to the tourism scene. But when viewed from above, the entire trail seems to stretch all the way into the heart of the mountain, embraced by rolling peaks, showcasing the natural beauty of Taiwan.

Located at the 67.7 km mark of County Highway 166, there is an observation platform that serves as the starting point of the "Taixingyan Trail." From the platform, you can see a panorama of interlacing mountain ridges including Rueili, Taiping, and Taixing. The entire wooden boardwalk is surrounded by tea plantation scenery, making for a very pleasant walk. Along the way, you might occasionally hear the whistle of the Alishan Forest Railway echoing through the hills — truly a breathtaking experience.
