Want to be Cinderella and ride in a pumpkin carriage? Students at Longf Elementary School in Zhuangqiao Township, Miaoli can make that dream come true!

Have you ever dreamed of being Cinderella and riding in a pumpkin carriage? Longf Elementary School in Zhuangqiao Township, Miaoli County has created a pumpkin industry-themed feature by crafting a 3D pumpkin carriage mural on the blank walls of the campus. In collaboration with Yuda University of Science and Technology, they have also produced large-format prints of fairy-tale-style pumpkin carriages. Many tourists and students visit this spot to take photos and immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere of Cinderella.

The most memorable part of the Cinderella fairy tale is the scene where Cinderella steps into the pumpkin carriage. The school explained that after more than a month of repeated revisions, the large-format 3D mural has recently been installed on the walls of Longf Elementary School. Measuring 5 meters in length and 3 meters in width, the creators from Yuda University noted that since it's located on a school campus, they made it more cartoonish with young children in mind. They also considered the height of elementary school students and put extra effort into achieving a strong sense of three-dimensionality in terms of resolution.

The school noted that the pumpkin carriage has the most three-dimensional effect, allowing visitors to try "stepping" into the carriage to take photos. The school also hopes to add more series of fairy-tale themed artworks to the walls in the future, turning the entire campus into a photo-friendly wonderland. The scenes are not only meant for students to enjoy—tourists and local residents are also welcome to visit the school and take memorable photos with these distinctive backdrops.

Wang Yu-fa, principal of Longf Elementary School, said that pumpkins are a local product and also a key feature of the school’s curriculum. When it comes to fairy tales centered around pumpkins, Cinderella starring Cinderella is the obvious choice. To transform the campus into a fairy-tale kingdom, the school specially collaborated with Pan Zhe-lun, a professor from the Multimedia and Game Design Department at Yuda University of Science and Technology, along with his students, to create a one-of-a-kind 3D art wall for Longf Elementary School.
