At least two witnesses told police that at 3:13 a.m., Yang was swinging on the crane’s arm before he ultimately fell. Due to strong winds, the 22-year-old was blown to the other side of the street after the fall.
A friend of Yang revealed that he and Yang had climbed the crane together, bypassing a 6-foot-high fence surrounding it.
