According to the UK's The Sun on September 28, a 9-year-old American girl recently conquered a cliff in the North American Rocky Mountains through rock climbing, making her the youngest person ever to do so.

The report says that 9-year-old Stella Noble recently succeeded in conquering The Diamond, the most dangerous cliff on Longs Peak in the North American Rocky Mountains, which stands 2,000 feet (about 609 meters) high. At the time, Noble was climbing with her father, Forrest Noble. They started their ascent at 6 a.m., spent about seven hours reaching the summit, and returned to the ground by 6 p.m. the same day, with the entire process taking over 11 hours. Noble has now become the youngest person in the world to conquer “The Diamond” through rock climbing.

Her father, Forrest Noble, revealed: “It’s a cliff — the higher you climb, the more dangerous it gets. But Stella thought it was really cool. From the peak, you can see the breathtaking views and even spot Denver, which is actually very far away. To be honest, I was a bit scared, but she wasn’t afraid at all. As an adult, you tend to think more about the risks, especially the danger of bringing a child here. I’ve climbed here over 20 times and have some experience, so I knew how to keep her safe.”

It is reported that Stella loved climbing ever since she could walk and started going hiking with her parents at the age of five. After Stella successfully conquered “The Diamond,” a man named Tommy Caldwell called to congratulate her, saying she had broken the record he set 21 years ago when he, at just 12 years old, climbed “The Diamond.”
