A girl suffered a comminuted pelvic fracture and is currently at a hospital in Chamdo. However, due to limited local medical conditions, without timely surgery, she may become permanently disabled. They hope someone can help transfer her from Chamdo to Chengdu, and they will cover all related expenses. Those who can help should contact netizen Xiaoqiang.
A staff member from the Medical Affairs Department of Chamdo Regional People's Hospital in Tibet stated that the car accident left backpacker Feng Ting with a pelvic fracture. Her vital signs are currently stable, but the hospital in Chamdo lacks the facilities to perform surgery.
As of 11 PM last night, the plea for help had been reposted more than 1,800 times. After learning about Feng Ting’s situation, Huang Bo, General Manager of Chengdu Shangzhong Self-Drive Company, expressed willingness to help. However, due to the severity of the patient’s condition—making travel by road unsuitable—his suggestion was not agreed upon by the family. Shenzhen Fengjie Rescue Service Co., Ltd. also offered assistance. “We have contacted the hospital where Feng Ting is being treated and are actively working to arrange a flight for her.”

Reporters contacted Xiaoqiang mentioned in the Weibo post. He is Feng Ting’s younger brother, named Feng Xiaoqiang, whose pelvis was fractured in the accident. Around 11 PM last night, an excited Feng Xiaoqiang said, “Air China has finally agreed to help. They said they will transport Feng Ting to Chengdu on May 19.”
At 0:15 AM today, the official Weibo account of Air China posted: “We have coordinated with Chamdo Airport, Air China Chengdu Maintenance Department, and Marketing Department. We will break from routine procedures, modify a passenger aircraft overnight, and plan to transport the injured to Chengdu on the flight on May 19. We also wish the injured a speedy recovery!”
