With the vigorous development of outdoor sports in China, more and more people are venturing outdoors, and challenging oneself and pushing limits has become a goal many eagerly pursue. This trend has led to higher demands on the functionality, fashion, and comfort of professional outdoor apparel, in order to meet the emotional need for “joyful travel and stylish comfort.”
Recently, CARAVA (Karevo) once again conducted off-site shooting for its 2012 autumn and winter new collection. The chosen location for this shoot was the King of Shu Mountains — Mount Gongga. The altitude range covered during the entire shoot spanned from 2000m to 5000m. Along the altitude gradient, the geographical environments included grasslands, canyons, woodlands, glacial rivers, rocky mountain terrain, snowlines, and glaciers. This route’s uniquely advantageous geographical environment, combined with the plateau's large diurnal temperature variations and unpredictable daily weather patterns, serves as an ideal base for testing the professional functionality and overall performance of outdoor gear.

It is reported that CARAVA invested nearly half a year of time and effort in planning this off-site shooting event. With the assistance of Chengdu Shenlüxíng (In-depth Travel) Service Agency, the complete shooting of the 2012 autumn and winter new collection was successfully completed. The professional outdoor apparel brand CARAVA and the deep-travel specialized service agency deeptours joined forces, once again showcasing CARAVA’s brand philosophy of “Professional Quality, Leading Fashion.” Team members who had never previously engaged in outdoor sports at altitudes above 3000m were able to successfully carry out the shoot at heights of 4800m. Aside from the teamwork and mutual support, it was also the brand spirit of “I think, therefore I can” that bolstered their individual willpower, enabling them to bravely combat altitude sickness and share with us a joyful journey where work and outdoor experience were perfectly integrated.
