The global leader in car rental, AVIS, launched a new Avis Preferred (Overseas Premium Program) membership service in early June, offering members enhanced convenience.
Starting this summer, Avis Preferred members will enjoy three additional benefits, which are:
(1) Pre-reserving a rental vehicle in advance;
(2) Swapping the rental vehicle within a designated vehicle group at pick-up, with no handling fee and without returning to the counter;
(3) Upgrading to a Cool Car or SUV within a specified range, with only a partial surcharge applied.
Avis Preferred members no longer need to visit the AVIS counter as before to conveniently complete these services.

By the end of 2012, Chinese Avis Preferred members traveling to the U.S. and Canada can access the 'Pick Up & Go' service at 50 AVIS airport locations.
