The renowned Swiss alpine sports brand Mammut will attend the 2012 Asia Outdoor Exhibition in Nanjing and will receive potential business partners at Meeting Room C03 on the second floor of Hall C, Nanjing International Expo Center during the exhibition.
Founded in 1862, Mammut has a 150-year history and is entering the Chinese market this year. Mammut is a leading European manufacturer of outdoor sports equipment and has been aggressively expanding in recent years, making full preparations for development in the Asian market. Mammut already has its own subsidiary in Japan and has recently converted its joint venture in South Korea into a wholly-owned subsidiary. To expand its sales activities in China, Mammut is planning to enter the Chinese market. According to Rolf Schmid, CEO of the Mammut Group, “The outdoor market in China is growing rapidly, and we are eager to enter this vast market as soon as possible. We are actively preparing to establish a subsidiary in China. Over the next few months, we will put together a passionate team of outdoor experts, refine our marketing strategy, and develop distribution plans. We expect to have this expert team in place by early 2013 and to showcase our 2013/2014 autumn/winter product line by the end of the year.”

“The Chinese market is of significant strategic importance to the development of the Mammut Group. We highly appreciate the uniqueness of the Chinese outdoor market and are committed to exceeding the needs and expectations of our key customers.” added Matthias Preussel, Head of Far East Sales Division at Mammut. Matthias Preussel lived and worked in China prior to joining the Mammut Group and speaks fluent Mandarin. He will attend the 7th Asia Outdoor Exhibition, to be held in Nanjing from July 26–29.
If you wish to make an appointment or inquire with Matthias Preussel before the exhibition, you can send him an email or meet him in person in Meeting Room C03 during the Asia Outdoor Exhibition on July 26 and 27.
