After six hours of driving, we finally escaped the hustle and bustle of the city. The howling wind blew, the blue sky, empty roads, and green grasslands came into view.
Since this grassland trip was our first camping experience, we had prepared a lot in advance. We rented a tent and other equipment from Coleman ahead of time~ By the way, this event is really great—just one yuan, practically free~~~ It’s perfect for first-timers wanting to try camping. You pretty much get a full set of gear~~
Driving fast across the grassland~~ So cool~
However, the temperature on the grassland drops quickly. It was almost 6 p.m., so we hurried to set up the tent. We thought it would take at least an hour… but it only took 30 seconds = = ! The design of this quick-setup tent is amazing—it totally saved us clueless DIYers~ Alright, now let’s take out all the gear… next step is… eating !
But no matter what, food is definitely the most important part of camping, haha. The Coleman barbecue grill is actually dual-purpose—you can place it on a table or set it up. Super convenient~ And that concave design focuses the heat really well, Chef~ bring me two more skewers~
After eating and drinking our fill, we sat on the grass waiting to watch the stars~ But one thing to note is that the temperature difference is huge—you’ll basically need long sleeves plus something warm... In the end, we didn’t even get five minutes of romance before everyone ran back into the tent~ O(∩_∩)O
I have to say, sometimes we’re not very lucky—the next day there was a strong wind on the grassland. Fortunately, our tent was sturdy… otherwise we might’ve woken up blown all the way back to Beijing
Braving the wind, we packed up and drove to Lover's Valley. The scenery on the grassland is just too beautiful—any random shot could be your desktop wallpaper~~
Unfortunately, the wind on the grassland was too strong, so we had to head back to Beijing early~~ Our first camping trip was a success~~ Actually, going smoothly and coming back safely is the most important part of any trip~~~

The temperature on the grassland at night is usually below 10°C, and it gets even colder when it’s windy. So if you’re going camping, make sure to bring warm clothes, and it’s best to have a sleeping bag.
Joining the COLEMAN event means you’ll have almost all the necessary camping gear, and it’s really convenient~ It’s perfect for friends who want to go camping but don’t have much experience~
It takes about 5 to 6 hours to drive from Beijing to Fengning, so it’s best to bring some snacks for the road~ to avoid getting hungry~
