Recently, Yan Dongdong, a student from Tsinghua University and a free climber, tragically passed away in the Tomur region of the Western Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang. It is reported that during the descent, he accidentally fell into a deep hidden crevasse and became trapped. His teammate Zhou Peng and others made multiple rescue attempts but were unsuccessful.
