Taipei café creates a Nordic Christmas vibe: enjoy international cuisine and gift exchanges

We Wish You A Merry Christmas！With Christmas approaching, many shops are gearing up with festive decorations, and Taipei’s“Anywhere Cafe & Travel（任意门旅行风咖啡厅）”has brought in a romantic Nordic atmosphere, letting customers enjoy gift exchanges in the Christmas spirit of Rovaniemi, Finland.

Anywhere Cafe & Travel features various styles that give customers the illusion of traveling the world as soon as they step inside. The café includes four country-themed sections: a Parisian area with a full green plant wall, a New York area decorated with postcard walls, an industrial-style London section, and a Nordic area with long communal dining tables perfect for gatherings. The window seats have also been a hot topic online, but you can specify your preferred seating when making a reservation to enjoy your meal just the way you like it.

Not only is the environment and visual aesthetic a treat, but the menu also offers a wide variety of choices, allowing you to sample the unique flavors of different cities. Riding the wave of Christmas, the café has recently launched limited-edition holiday drinks, such as the sea salt caramel macchiato — where sweet and savory burst in your mouth — topped with sweet roasted marshmallow brownies that are especially eye-catching. In the festive spirit of Christmas, there’s no better place than this Western-style Christmas-themed café to enjoy international cuisine and play gift exchanges with friends. Moreover, these daily limited drinks will be available until the end of 2017.

Additionally, the café’s postcard-sending activity is ongoing. Use the blank postcards from various countries sold in-store, write your message, and hand it to the staff. One of the owners, Patrick, who is also a flight attendant, will take it with him on his flights and mail it back to Taiwan from abroad, ensuring you receive an authentic foreign postcard. In December, the service covers Sydney and London.
