Run through Taiwan’s most beautiful hot spring destination—“Zhiben Hot Spring Marathon” kicks off in October!

The highly acclaimed “Zhiben Hot Spring Marathon Charity Run” returns this year, with its second edition officially starting on October 9th in Zhiben. Coinciding with the opening of the Zhiben Hot Spring Festival, the event allows runners to experience Taitung’s unique laid-back lifestyle and rich cultural diversity while enjoying scenic spots such as Zhiben Hot Springs and Zhiben Forest Recreation Area. After the race, participants can unwind in Zhiben’s distinctive carbonated hot springs. Registration is now open.

The organizing body, Taitung Junior Chamber International, a local youth organization in Taitung, has announced that for every kilometer run, ten dollars will be donated to assist in the post-disaster reconstruction efforts following Typhoon Nepartak, using action to give back to the community of Taitung.
