The MICHELIN Guide Singapore was released in July, featuring 29 starred restaurants. Taiwanese chef André Chiang also drew significant attention as his restaurant Restaurant ANDRE earned two stars, while two hawker stalls (大华猪肉|刻趺妗⑾愀塾图Ψ姑妫) were also awarded one star each. In addition, the MICHELIN Guide Singapore listed 34 “Bib Gourmand” (value-for-money) restaurants, 17 of which are hawker fare located in various hawker centres across Singapore, with an average cost per person below S$45 (approximately NT$1,050).
